We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Controller/Administrator to oversee the company's financial operations and support key human resources functions. As the sole accounting and HR professional, this individual will manage the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, while also coordinating employee onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel records. This is an excellent opportunity someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and taking ownership of both the accounting and administrative functions of the organization.


Financial Management & Accounting:

  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and client collections.
  • Record and classify financial transactions while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare financial reports, cash flow summaries, expense analyses, and other reporting for firm leadership.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and year-end financial activities.
  • Coordinate the billing process by preparing and distributing client invoices.
  • Apply client payments, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Research and resolve billing questions or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process payroll in partnership with the third party payroll provider.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
  • Support year-end payroll reporting and tax documentation, including W-2s and 1099s.


Human Resources Administration:

  • Maintain confidential employee personnel files and employment records.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including employment documentation, payroll setup, and orientation.
  • Administer employee benefits enrollment and communicate changes with benefit providers.
  • Track employee leave balances and provide updates to management as needed.
  • Assist with HR policies, employment compliance, and general personnel administration.
  • Support leadership with administrative projects and operational initiatives.
