Stationary Engineer

Join a highly automated manufacturing facility supporting critical plant utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, air compressors, and pneumatic equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, system optimization, and supporting regulatory compliance programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, air compressors, and plant utility systems.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and implement solutions to improve reliability.
  • Support utility system operations, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
  • Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities and track work orders.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school training preferred.
  • Experience with industrial utilities, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and air compressor systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • RETA certification, boiler license, and EPA certification are preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with CMMS systems and basic computer applications.


Compensation & Schedule:

  • Competitive hourly pay with excellent benefits, retirement plan, paid time off, and advancement opportunities.
  • Tuesday-Saturday, OT as needed 6am-2:30pm
  • $35+/hr + $5,000 hiring bonus!
