Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic - Shop Technician

$30-$45/hr + Overtime | Direct Hire | Omaha Area

Looking for a shop-based diesel mechanic role where you'll work on a large fleet of heavy construction equipment?

We're hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain CAT, John Deere, and Volvo construction equipment. Most work is performed in the shop, with only occasional field service support.

What You'll Work On

• Dozers
• Excavators
• Wheel loaders
• Motor graders
• Haul trucks
• Other heavy construction equipment

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service
• Complete engine, powertrain, and hydraulic repairs
• Use diagnostic software, schematics, and service manuals
• Inspect equipment and identify issues before failures occur

What We're Looking For

• Heavy equipment, diesel, agricultural, or construction equipment repair experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills
• Ability to read service manuals and schematics
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus

Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Saturdays as needed
• Strong overtime opportunities available
